How to Ship Hatching Eggs.
1st Step - is to gather all of your supplies before you start, such as: eggs & egg carton, box, tape, news paper, bubble wrap, big markers, pen, labels, cotton squares & cotton fill. |
2nd Step - Place a cotton square on each hole and push the fresh eggs with the large end up into each cup. |
3rd Step - Over fill the carton as much as possible with the cotton/cluster fill. |
4th Step - Close the lid and wrap a thick rubber band around it. |
| 5th Step - Wrap the carton with 2-3 layers of bubble wrap and tape. |
| 6th Step – You will need to surround the egg carton with crumpled paper on all sides. STUFF the box to prevent any movement. | ![]() |
| 7th Step - Tape the box well and make sure the print on all your shipping labels are easy to read then ship the box using priority mail. |
| 8th Step – This is corner view of a completed box showing how I marked all 6 sides of the box. Then I just hope for the best knowing I did everything possible to make sure they arrive safely at their destination. |
